Apple cider vinegar is a kitchen staple, dating back to ancient times. It is said that even Greek physician, Hippocrates, used it! Here are 3 easy ways you can incorporate apple cider vinegar into your beauty routine.

1: For Smooth Shiny Hair

Dilute 1/3 of a cup of apple cider vinegar into 4 litres of water and pour it over your hair after shampooing and conditioning your hair. This will make your hair soft and shiny as it will break up oil and any residue from products left in your hair. By using apple cider vinegar regularly on your hair, you will remove tangles, close the cuticles, reduce dandruff, encourage stronger hair, and prevent split ends and breakage. Just don’t pour it over your head after shaving your underarms or your legs. Even with the apple cider vinegar diluted, this could sting!

2: As a Toner for your skin

Mix one part apple cider vinegar to 3 or 4 parts water. Apply it to your face, neck and chest with a cotton pad after cleansing (if you have delicate skin, make sure to rinse it off after 10 minutes). This will help to remove any bacteria that might cause acne and balance out your skin pH for glowing fresh skin.

3: For beautiful smelling feet

Mix 1 cup of apple cider vinegar into a foot bath or large container of water and soak your feet for up to 30 minutes. This will aid in balancing the pH of your skin, preventing the bacterial growth that causes smelly feet!
